    Structured Cabling & Fiber

CAT6 / CAT6A copper and single- or multi-mode fiber backbones for offices, campuses and data centres. We design the cable schedule, install containment and cabling, terminate and patch, then certify every link and hand over as-built documentation.

    Technical Overview

How a Structured Cabling Project Runs

Design: a site survey produces a cable schedule, containment routes, a comms-room and rack layout, and a bill of materials — all to TIA-568 / ISO-11801 standard.

First fix: cable tray, trunking and conduit are installed, and horizontal cabling is pulled from each work-area outlet back to the floor distributor.

Termination: outlets, patch panels and fiber trays are terminated and dressed; every cable is labelled to a documented naming scheme at both ends.

Certification: each copper link is tested with a Fluke DSX to CAT6/6A parameters and each fiber with an OTDR and light-source/power-meter; results are compiled into a test-report pack alongside as-built drawings and a port map.

    Key Features

    System Capabilities

    CAT6 / CAT6A Horizontal Cabling

Work-area outlets home-run to the floor distributor, supporting 1–10 Gbps with headroom for the next refresh cycle.

    Fiber Backbone

OS2 single-mode and OM4 multi-mode risers and inter-building links, fusion-spliced and terminated in managed trays.

    Comms Room & Racks

Open-frame and enclosed racks built and dressed, with horizontal and vertical cable management, PDUs and clear airflow.

    Containment

Cable tray, basket, trunking and conduit sized for fill ratio and future capacity, installed to a routed plan.

    Labelling & Documentation

A consistent naming scheme at every outlet, panel port and cable end, with an as-built drawing set and port schedule.

    Certification Testing

Fluke DSX copper certification and OTDR fiber testing, with a full results pack for warranty and handover.

    Advantages

    Benefits of Automation

    • A documented, certified plant that the next contractor — or your own IT — can actually work with.
    • CAT6A and OM4 give real headroom, so the cabling outlasts two or three switch generations.
    • Test-report packs and as-built drawings protect the manufacturer's system warranty.
    • Proper containment and labelling make moves, adds and changes fast and low-risk.
    • One backbone carries data, voice, Wi-Fi, CCTV and access control.
    • Structured patching keeps the comms room legible under change.
